Module Set Up Information

Question:  Why can't I remove a module from my store.  I get "Miva Merchant Encountered the Following  Error: Module 'Base + Weight Shipping' is in use by one or more orders."

Answer:  Try processing the orders using the module first.
Then you should be able to delete it.

Question: Why do I get the following error when I click on check out
modules/ui/mmui.mv: Line 2802: MvDO: Runtime Error: Error opening
'lib/db.mv': No such file or directory?

Answer: Most likely your secure Module Path

Go to: admin.mv - Modules - Module Path

The secure path is blank by default. It will probably be either

/Merchant/

or

/yourstore/Merchant/

Question:  I have a mall with four stores and miva timed out on the server.   Now for the one store the payment and fulfillment modulles are not listed nor can be added.   What files are they in?

Answer: If they are not listed in admin.mv - Modules you should be able to register them with "add module".  Then they can be selected and installed in the store.
The files should be located in /Merchant/modules/....
fulfill and payment directories.

Question:   I have downloaded some modules from the exchange section on www.miva.com, but I don't know how to integrate them into the site. I uploaded them to my Miva Merchant site, but they do not show up as an option in the Admin.

Answer:
Did you read the comments section of the scripts? Some are modules, some are standalone applets.

Question:  I have tried removing modules from store to re-install them but I get an error saying that the modules are in use and cannot be deleted. Why?

Answer:  You cannot delete a module as long as it is in use by an order.
Batch all your orders, download them, delete all the batches.  Then you will be able to delete or remove the module.

Question:  How can I use Authorizenet 3.0 with Merchant ver 1.25?

Answer:  There is a module available in the Miva Exchange that uses the 3.0 authorize.net API and works with Miva Merchant 1.25.  This module requires the same authorize.net commerce library that is required for the Miva Merchant 2.0 Authorize.net module.
